Daily Bharat News ("we") operates the YouTube channel "Daily Bharat News" and www.dailybharat10.com. This policy explains how this website and our publishing application ("Daily Bharat News") use data, including Google user data.
What the application is
"Daily Bharat News" is a private automation tool, used only by the channel owner, that prepares our daily news video and publishes it to our own YouTube channel. It is not offered to the public, and no one else signs in to it.
Google user data we access
The channel owner authorises the tool once with their own Google account. It requests these scopes:
youtube.upload: to upload our own videos and thumbnails.youtube.force-ssl: to set titles, descriptions, tags, playlists and captions on our own videos.yt-analytics.readonly: to read our own channel's analytics (views, watch time, click-through) so we can improve titles and descriptions.
How we use and store it
We use this data only to operate our own channel. The OAuth token is stored on the owner's own computer and server, is never published, and is not shared. We do not sell, rent or transfer Google user data to anyone. We do not use it for advertising, and we do not use it to train AI models. No human reads the data except the channel owner.
The tool uses Google user data as permitted by the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements.
Visitors to this website
This website is static. It has no accounts, forms or cookies, and it collects no personal information. The only analytics is on our short links (/today/ and /go/…), which are counted with GoatCounter, a privacy-friendly counter that sets no cookies, stores no personal data and records only the page opened, the referring site, and a rough browser, device and country summary. Its fonts are hosted on the site itself. Video thumbnails are loaded from YouTube's image servers (i.ytimg.com), which, like any image host, can see your IP address and browser details when you load a page. A video player from youtube-nocookie.com is loaded only if you click play on a video; after that, YouTube's own Privacy Policy applies. Links to YouTube open YouTube's own site.
Retention and revocation
The token is kept only while the tool is in use. It can be revoked at any time at myaccount.google.com/permissions, and we delete the stored token on request or when we stop using the tool. Use of YouTube is also governed by the YouTube Terms of Service and the Google Privacy Policy.
